BrambleLash is a spritely multiplayer co-op with tactical team-and-swap action. Enchanted sprites work together to defeat slimy invaders in a whimsical setting full of glimmering shadows. Connect, cooperate or betray to win!

BrambleLash is the debut game from new development studio ByteSprite, and has been in part time development since late 2014. The original idea for the game came from a brainstorming session during a 48hr Global Game Jam, and since has been gestating in the developers' heads. BrambleLash has been prototyped and demoed at a number of local events in Perth, and as such has been tweaked and refined based on player feedback throughout it's entire development cycle. BrambleLash was shown at PAX Australia 2016 and the Perth Games Festival, and is currently burning through the final stages of development.

  • Succeed as a team, or fail alone! Link your thorny tether with a partner to destroy enemies and assist each other in adventure mode.
  • Play with up to four players to overcome the slimey swarms and defeat the slime king.
  • A fluid co-op team system, allowing you to partner up then break ties for a tactical team reshuffle.
  • Form temporary alliances in versus mode, then betray your partner in the final moments to secure your own selfish victory.
  • Pull your partner to safety and over obstacles with the press of a button.
  • Share a variety of powerups with your friends for amplified effect.
  • Co-ordinate with your partner to mount an offensive, and maneuver to avoid toxic tether breaking attacks.
  • Simple controls and gameplay that can be picked up and understood in a matter of a few seconds. For both friends, family and frenemies alike!
  • A vibrant scenic environment that responds to the movements and actions of the players and their slimey enemies.
